WELCOME to worship circle pastors
For the last decade, Worship Circle has existed to serve worship leaders all over the world. In 2024, we followed God’s leading to step into a proven model to offer our small groups to pastors as well.
Being a pastor is a high, beautiful, and biblical calling. Pastors have been called to shepherd others into a deeper knowledge, relationship, and experience of God. However, the current landscape of pastoral ministry is an extremely difficult and challenging one. Worship Circle Pastors was launched to provide spaces for pastors to find rest, renewal, and fresh re-engagement with God, themselves, and their calling.
Before we can see renewal in our churches, we must first experience it in ourselves. According to a recent Barna survey, pastors are experiencing decreased confidence, increased doubt about their calling, and a decline in key markers of well-being.
One-third of pastors have considered quitting in the last year.
60% have significantly doubted their calling.
25% said they have seriously doubted their faith.
1 in 5 pastors (18%) say that they have contemplated self-harm or suicide within the past year.
Only 11% of pastors report having excellent mental and emotional well-being.
Only 19% of pastors say that they have excellent overall quality of life.
19% of pastors say that they have "true friends."
WORSHIP CIRCLE PASTORS SMALL GROUPS
Our desire is to create small groups that allow pastors to pursue spiritual, emotional, and physical health together in community. Our small groups offer friendship, honesty, ongoing care, life with the Spirit through spiritual direction and ultimately an ongoing environment where pastors experience the reality that they are loved and not alone.
We accomplish these goals through:
Safe, authentic community
Friendship, ongoing care and communication
Unique access to influential, monthly speakers
Monthly group spiritual direction
An in-person soul care retreat in Colorado at the beginning of each term
